We started with what people keep.
VaultCova was founded by Ezekiel Igbinovia, an insurance surveyor who spent more than a decade assessing risks and losses for Nigerian businesses and families, and saw too many claims turn into arguments because nobody had a clear record of what was owned or what it was worth.
Our story
For more than a decade our founder worked as an insurance surveyor, inspecting power plants, factories, warehouses, office blocks, buildings, equipment and marine vessels. Most of that work was risk assessment: understanding what a business owns, what could go wrong and what it would cost to put right. The rest was loss assessment after fires, floods and break-ins.
On those loss visits the same problem came up again and again: people were insured, but the sum on the policy was a round number chosen years before, with no receipts, photos or current list. VaultCova starts with what you own, keeps its true value and proof safe, and helps you insure it properly, in plain words and in your own language.
Our values
- Plain words: we write it plain and say it true, so nothing in the small print hides from you.
- True value: we count it right and count it fair, so when you need your cover, it is there.
- Kept promises: what we promise, we do indeed; we stay beside you in your hour of need.
- Guarded trust: what you entrust, we hold with care; your records are yours, and they stay there.
